The Grandville DDA Connection project includes construction of a new permanent Farmers Market and redesign of the existing parking lot to re-route vehicular traffic flows away from the Farmers Market structure. New trees and green spaces are included to reduce stormwater impacts on the site. An open space play area in the southeast corner of the site has a new ornamental metal pergola structure with ornamental metal swings, new benches, and a masonry seat wall.

A new underground electrical service powers LED lighting, electrical devices located under the canopy, and at selected islands for tree lighting through a programmable lighting control panel. The site also includes electrical vehicle charging stations and a new site-wide sound system for events and the Farmers Market. Relocation of an existing 12″ water main; 12″, 24″, and 30″ diameter storm sewer; and 8″ and 18″ sanitary sewer facilitates construction of the farmers market structure. Several new catch basins, manholes, storm sewer, a fire hydrant, and new water main round out the new parking lot layout.
